Rich was born in 1979, right here in Rock Springs, Wyoming! He became a tattoo artist because it was his next logical step from painting cars in the art for hire market. He really just fell into it shortly after his 30th birthday. As it is true that you cannot really choose your style, your style chooses you. Realism has chosen him through the years as he has grown and changed. Tattooing since 2010, his biggest influences through the years have changed and evolved since he started. As he wanted to be a new school artist when he began, Joe Capobianco and Jime Litwalk were a couple of artists that he looked up to back in the beginning. As he has grown and developed his style, he has become more influenced by the work of Carl Grace, Luke Palan, Bob Tyrell, Phil Garcia, Paul Acker, and Arlo Dicristina. What motivates him the most is the fact that he never wants to stagnate, he always wants to be better, do more, and expand his capabilities. He is driven to be the best he can possibly be as a father, husband, role model, and mentor.
